Fall Big Game 2010
Teams will be faced with tasks of exploration, war, technological development, and diplomacy in a battle for world domination. Generals will make decisions about where to place new cities, and which developments to build in each city. From time to time, the towns may be harassed by barbarians who travel the land destroying anything in their path.
This game will consist of FOUR independents teams (The Royal British Empire, The Aztecs, France under Napoleon, and The Roman Empire) which will have one “General/Commander” to make diplomatic and national decisions. Teams may form alliances, pacts, or do anything in their power to achieve world domination. Updates on the relations between teams will be provided via Public Address System and through referees on the field.
Generals can volunteer, or they will be chosen, prior to the game. Generals will meet with their respective teams prior to the game to discuss overall strategy, and to choose where to develop their first settlement (flag station). Flag stations chosen by each team will act as Starting Points AND insertion points. Teams MUST protect and maintain at least ONE flag station on the field at all times. In the event that a team loses all flag stations, that team will have 30 minutes to recover one flag station for a settlement and insertion point. In the event that a team loses all settlements, and the 30 minute time elapses, the team will disband and may join an alliance team, or be split up among the remaining powers.
